Amazon Has The Key To Turning Any Speaker Into A Smart Assistant

The company announces the arrival in Spain of Echo Input Echo Input from Amazon, the device that allows you to use the Alexa assistant on any external speaker, is available in pre-order from this Wednesday in Spain, in black and white colors.

This member of the Echo family allows you to add Alexa to an external speaker, either through the accompanying 3.5mm audio cable or via wireless connection via Bluetooth, as the company explains in a statement.

Available in black and white colors, Echo Input is a small device, the first of the Echo family designed for audio to come from an external speaker. It integrates four microphones to talk to the Amazon assistant, even when there is music playing.

When an external loudspeaker is connected to the device, that loudspeaker can be added to a multi-state music group to play music in streaming in a synchronized manner in all the rooms of the house. And in the case of having multiple Echo devices within the distance, Amazon’s Echo Spatial Perception (ESP) technology intelligently calculates the clarity of the voice and determines which Echo device is closest to respond to the request.

The Echo Input also allows customers to use the “skills” available in Spain. This device is available in pre-order from this Wednesday for 39.99 euros and will begin to be sent to Amazon customers from January 30.
